For us, sustainability means using resources consciously, strengthening regional cycles, and taking responsibility—for nature, our guests, and the people in our region.

Awarded the Austrian Ecolabel

We are delighted to share that our hotel has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for tourism businesses. This certification stands for a mindful approach to our environment and affirms our commitment to integrating sustainability step by step into our daily hotel operations.

Our key sustainability measures at a glance:

We conserve resources & save energy: We source 100% of our electricity from renewable energy and ensure a mindful use of water throughout the hotel. We also maintain consistent waste separation.
Sustainability in the restaurant & purchasing:We serve regional & seasonal ingredients, supporting local farmers while reducing transport distances. We focus on organic and Fairtrade products and also offer vegetarian & vegan dishes.
We provide e-charging stations for our guests (at standard market rates).

We promote climate-friendly travel by train, bus, or bicycle: Guests arriving by public transport receive a €20 voucher in summer for bike rental at Sport Knaubert, and in winter a €20 voucher for ski rental.

How you can support our sustainability efforts:

Please dispose of hygiene products in the residual waste, not in the toilet.
Separate your waste: Dispose of residual waste in the bathroom and recyclables in the room. This helps us ensure proper waste separation.
Switch off lights and devices when leaving the room.
Use water sparingly and report any dripping taps or running toilets.
Change towels only when necessary. To request a change, please place the towels on the floor.
