By a family for families

Values in the Hotel Kaiser

Where we feel at home, our guests should feel great. Our hotel is not your classic hotel, rather it is a temporary home from home for all the family.

Hostess Barbara Winkler

Hostess Barbara Winkler

Barbara Winkler is mother to three boys. So she has first hand experiences of what it takes to enjoy a family holiday.

The idea of having the hotel as an all-inclusive hotel, is one she has always nurtured, after all, for families this model is just unbelievably practical. Since 1994 she has been managing the Hotel Kaiser with a great deal of commitment and plenty of attention to detail. The photos of regular guests that adorn the walls are evidence of the cordiality which Barbara Winkler shows her guests, who are always happy to return to their home from home in the mountains.

completely carefree

Our philosophy in the Hotel Kaiser

Son Michael has been supporting his mother as Junior Manager in all her endeavours. He grew up in the hotel and has always been by her side as an expert in all things ‘child-friendly’ . During all of his childhood he dreamed of having an adventure land in the hotel. This is why the idea came about for the indoor pay area ‘Philomena’s Sensory Realm’. Barbara and Michael have made it their duty to ensure children and parents alike enjoy an imperial holiday. At meal times, the little ones can enjoy simple children’s dishes , while parents get to enjoy gourmet cuisine. And if the adults fancy a dip in the Kaiser.Spa , their little ones are in great hands in the Kids.Club . A holiday that is all-round carefree and wholly hassle-free.

Children of the future

Sustainability in the Hotel Kaiser

The future belongs to children. That is why we have to look after our planet. As a home from home for families, in the Hotel Kaiser we are very geared towards sustainability. The photovoltaic facilities on the roof generate solar energy, Rubbish separation is of course carried out as a matter of course. In the back office we endeavour not to use paper, while environmentally-aware guests can charge their cars at the E-charging points in the hotel’s own underground garage. The food we use comes predominantly from the region, from farmers nearby, so it just tastes better. To avoid the use of plastic, Kaisers of all ages can look forward to using drinking straws that are made from real straw. An experience for those, with whom we want to protect nature.
