The Wilder Kaiser region offers a particularly enchanting pre-Christmas season, characterized by festive markets and events. Old church squares transform into picturesque Advent markets filled with regional handicrafts. Especially noteworthy are the Christmas markets in Going and the Söll Nativity Advent, inviting visitors to delightful walks through snow-covered villages. There, the spicy scent of mulled wine and the serene sounds of folk music await.
For a unique mountain Advent experience, the Hartkaiserbahn Ellmau transports enthusiasts to Ellmi's enchanting Mountain Advent at 1,555 meters above sea level.
